av98m SG the purple cables are actually from my SCV box to the amplifier. the white/silver cable is from my DVD player to TV so this setup I use for everything, including watching movies/anime and TV

kopiosatu SG i've never been able to output my scv sound through the system i'm using the old box... i think that's why its not possible. i wonder if it'll cost me to get the newer box. then again i'm also looking to buy a new TV. i heard audiohouse sells HDTVs cheap!

av98m SG the old box is mono, get the new digital box with stereo outputs instead. it looks much nicer too, and has a better menu/info system. Quite cheap to replace, as far as I can remember. dun buy hdtvs now lah, waste of $$$
